A Glimpse of rural art

OneWorld Classrooms offers an Art Cross Cultural Exchange program. Students K-12 grade exchange drawings from countries around the world.  This year 2012, internationalesawyer worked with the Lycée Nelson Mandela in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Students drew pictures that display Burkinabé culture that were later exchanged for other pieces of art from countries such as Cambodia and Romania.

OneWorld Classrooms also offers mini-grants to schools that are not able to support extra curricular activities such as art programs.  The Lycée Nelson Mandela was awarded a mini- grant through the efforts of internationalesawyer.  Find below the congratulatory letter via email.
